I'm scared of being abandoned, I'm upset because he's the first guy that actually likes me for who I am and I am very unlucky to be in this situation. What can I do?...<p>Hey anon, since the internet has become such a big part in life for a lot of teenagers and young adults a lot of people end up meeting people online and falling for them. It’s a really hard situation to be in. It’s nice you’ve had the opportunity to meet someone like that and have a special connection with them but distance will always make a relationship a bit harder. Have you had a chat with him about the future? You could always suggest waiting a few years and then maybe meeting? He probably feels similarly to you and so having a chat might actually help you both in the situation. If this relationship doesnt work for you right now, that’s okay, it will be hard for you if he is your first love but you’ll grow and learn and get stronger and in the future use what you’ve learnt here for future relationships. It will take some time that’s all. Try and talk to him and see where it goes. Good luck.
